1. Who sells. Lockette is sold by PAWRUP DIGITAL ENTERPRISE (SSM no. 202503318426 / PG0579828-V), C-9-5 Central Residence, Jalan Sungai Besi, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ("we", "us"). Email: support@lockettegift.com.
1A. Who you buy from. You buy from us and pay through Stripe, wherever you are. We do not currently sell to buyers in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom; checkout is not offered there.
2. What you buy. One Lockette order is a personalised digital product with three parts:
- a printable card delivered as a PDF, which you print yourself at home or at a print shop;
- a private gift page at a long, random link, which you can lock with a memory question; and
- an AR moment: when the printed card is scanned with a phone browser, your photo or message plays on top of it.
The current version includes one photo and a written message. It does not include voice notes or music. If you choose "Bring my photo to life", we make a short silent moving clip from your photo with an AI tool. An AI clip may not match the photo exactly; if our reviewer finds it does not look right, we use your still photo instead. The PDF prints as an A5 folded card on A4 or US Letter paper.
We make each order from the photo, message, names and question you give us. Nothing is shipped. Printing, paper and ink are your cost.
3. Who may buy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract. You buy as a consumer for a personal gift, not for resale.
4. Price and payment. The price is RM 39 in Malaysia and USD 12 elsewhere, shown before you pay. In Malaysia it includes all our charges. Outside Malaysia it also includes all our charges. Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe. Your bank may charge a currency-conversion fee.
5. Your content and our review. 5.1 You give us photos, a message, names, a memory question, accepted answers and an optional hint ("your content"). 5.2 Every order is checked by a person on our team before delivery. We check that it works, looks right and follows the Acceptable Content Policy. 5.3 You confirm that (a) you have the right to use your content; (b) every person shown in your photos has agreed to appear in this gift, including as a short moving clip if you choose one, and the person receiving it is happy to receive it as far as you know; and (c) your content follows the Acceptable Content Policy. 5.4 If an order breaks the policy, we may ask you to change it. If it cannot be fixed, we cancel it and refund you in full. 5.5 You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display and adapt your content, including making a short moving clip from your photo with an AI service acting for us, only to make, review, deliver and host your Lockette order, and to provide support. We do not use your photos or messages for advertising, training AI models or any other purpose without your separate written permission.
6. Delivery. After review, we email you the PDF, the gift page link and instructions, usually within 24 hours and at most 3 working days after payment. If you need it by a date, tell us at checkout; we cannot guarantee a date unless we confirm it in writing. If we cannot deliver within the stated time, you may cancel for a full refund. If you finish your gift after paying, the delivery time counts from when you send it for review.
7. Your right to cancel (withdrawal right). 7.1 Malaysia. 7.2 EU, EEA and UK consumers. We do not sell there (section 1A). If we accept an order from there by mistake, this applies: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. That right does not apply to (a) goods or content made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and (b) digital content not on a physical medium once supply has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right. At checkout we ask for that consent and acknowledgement in a separate tick box, and we confirm it in your order email. If you do not tick it, we will not start making your order until 14 days have passed, or you may cancel before we start. 7.3 Before we start work you may cancel any order by email for a full refund. 7.4 Your statutory rights for faulty or not-as-described products are not affected (see section 9).
8. 14-day "Works or your money back" guarantee. If the card, AR moment or gift page does not work for you and we cannot fix it, email us within 14 days of delivery and we refund in full. After a refund the gift page is switched off. One guarantee refund per buyer. It does not apply to a gift page switched off under section 11. This guarantee is on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.
9. If something does not work. If the PDF, AR moment or gift page is faulty or not as described, tell us. We will fix it, remake it or refund you. Supported devices: a recent phone with a camera and Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone/iPad). Please try the free sample page before buying.
Our Refund and cancellation policy explains sections 6 to 9 in plain words.
10. Gift page. The gift page is governed by the Gift Page Terms, including how long it stays online (12 months from delivery), how to share it and how to switch it off.
11. Taking content down. We may switch off a gift page, without refund, if we learn after delivery that it breaks the Acceptable Content Policy or the law, or the person shown or the recipient asks us to remove it for a good reason. We tell you why unless the law prevents it.
12. Our content. The card designs, AR effects, software and the Lockette name belong to us or our licensors. You may print your card for personal gifting as often as you like. You may not resell it or copy our designs.
13. Liability. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business loss. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) and, for EU/UK consumers, mandatory local consumer law.
14. Changes. We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you order applies to that order.
15. Law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Malaysian buyers may also go to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia.
16. Language. These terms are in English and Bahasa Malaysia. If they differ, the English version applies, except that a consumer in Malaysia may rely on whichever version is more favourable to them.
